Pest Control Technical Training Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to protect the Pest Authority brand by ensuring compliance with all service protocols, sales training, customer service training to achieve sales objectives, customer retention, and brand recognition.

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Basic knowledge of all urban pests and pest control procedures.
• Train all newly launched Pest Authority franchises who have launched in the past 12 to 18 months.
• 75% to 80% of their time to be spent on field activities in various locations.
• Spend at least two (2) full days in two locations per week.
• Training activities to include, but not limited to, review and understanding of all current service protocols with all individuals.
• Training in up selling, cross selling bundle services.
• Inventory review and compliance to ensure adequate product(s) are available to provide service to comply with current service protocols.
• Proper license compliance by the franchise per each State requirements.
• Work with individual pest specialists, or designated individuals dedicated to pests, to ensure compliance with service protocols.
• Truck and safety inspections to ensure proper products are available to comply with all service protocols and PPE is sufficient.
• Identify gaps, or needs, with respect to training, equipment, or needed services.

Skills Required:
• 3 – 5 years experience in the pest control industry
• Understanding of the sales process and ability to train
• Past sales experience in the pest control industry
• Competency in commercial service, i.e., HACCP, AIB, USDA
• Competency in termite control and other ancillary services
• Ability to travel 75% to 80% of the time
• Skills in Power Point, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
