- Schedule appointments and/or follow up with pre-arranged appointments and meet with existing and potential customers in their homes to explain Mosquito & Pest Authority's products and services
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior areas of potential customer’s property to diagnose any issues (often includes getting in attics and crawlspaces).
- Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall solution for each customer's needs
- Documenting descriptions of property and recording accurate measurements of areas inspected
- Complete proper paperwork to begin service for the customer utilizing your company provided iPad for thoroughness, speed and accuracy
- Estimating job costs and preparing Service Plan recommendations
- Make sales presentations to customers based on the findings from inspections and address any questions, explain the treatment process and set the right expectations for the customer
- Contacting customers after service is performed to ensure satisfaction and quality of service
- Achieve sales performance objectives through assigned leads and new business development
- 6 to 12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required
- Must be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy being a problem solver
- Must be customer centric, solutions focused and committed to delivering the highest level of customer service
- Must be able to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
- You must have strong communications skills – both written and oral
- You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
- You have a good aptitude for basic math- necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process
- You must be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
- Able to work a flexible schedule (including occasional weekend hours when necessary)
- Must be a high school graduate/GED. College is preferred, but not required
- Must have a valid VA Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Able to lift and carry up to 60lbs
- Able to access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Paid training to include sales, classroom training and field training
